Biography

I was born and raised in Alpharetta, GA, a suburb of the Atlanta area. I enjoy being at home and hanging out with my family. My family means a lot to me, and I would not be who I am today without them.

I was raised in a very artistic family. My father was an engineer and enjoyed building and creating things for my brother, sister and I. My mother was a teacher and enjoyed making unique crafts for her classes. While in high school, I took many art classes including sculpture, pottery and drawing. I enjoy sketching in my free time. Being able to express myself through my art is one of the greatest gifts I have received in life.

I began attending Auburn University in the fall of 2004. Like many other students, I didn't decide on a major until the beginning of my sophomore year. Public relations seemed to match the type of person I am. I like having a variety of options, and public relations deals with a multitude of things I can dip my feet into. Most importantly, I am able to continue using my artistic abilities with my chosen career, whether it be writing or creating an elaborate event.

Recently, I have accepted an internship at an event planning/catering company in Atlanta. My hopes are that I will be stepping out on the right foot and improve my natural skills and those that I have picked up while at Auburn.
